靠高壓電暈放電使得粉塵荷電，荷電后的粉塵在電場力的作用下到達集塵板，但是在對集塵板上捕集到的粉塵清灰方式上有較大的區(qū)別，它采用沖刷液沖洗電極，在極板上形成連續(xù)的液膜，使粉塵隨著沖刷液的流動而清除。煙氣中的灰塵顆粒通過高壓電磁場時與電 極間的正負離子與電子碰撞而產生的荷電，帶上電子和離子的塵粒在電場力的作用下向異性電極運動并積附在異性電極上，通過振打等方式使電極上的灰塵落入收集 灰斗中，使它通過電除塵器的煙氣得到凈化，從而達到除塵效果。

除塵器工作機理如下：
